POLICIES
RESERVATION POLICY
While walk-ins are welcome, we recommend making a reservation to guarantee your spot in class. Reservations may be made two weeks in advance and up to 15 minutes prior to the class start time. In order to reserve online, an account is required. Reservations will be honored only until the class begins. If you do not arrive prior to the start of class, your reservation will be given away to someone on the waitlist. Click here to schedule a class.
We strongly encourage you to use our online system. You may also call the studio to make a reservation but we do not accept reservations left on our voicemail or email reservations.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Failure to cancel a reservation more than 60 minutes prior to the class will result in the deduction of 1 class from your account or the deduction of 1 day if you have an unlimited monthly package. You may cancel online or by calling the studio. We cannot take email cancellations.
WAITLIST POLICY
If a class is full, you can add your name to the waitlist. As spots open up, you will be notified via email if you are put into the class. You are responsible for your reservation if you are put into the class from the waitlist. If you do not cancel your class and do not attend, our standard cancellation policy will apply. You should take your name off the waitlist if you no longer want to be put in the class if a spot opens up.
If you get into a class and are already scheduled for another class, please cancel one of the classes so that someone else can attend. You may call the studio at any time prior to the start of class to check your waitlist status if you do not have email access.
REFUNDS/EXPIRATIONS/TRANSFERABILITY
No refunds after 7 days from date of purchase.
Class packages expire 1 year from date of purchase.
30-Day Unlimited packages expire 30 days after activation.
TRANSFERABILITY
All classes are non-transferable and valid only at the Washington DC studio.
FREEZING
You may freeze your package by contacting us and paying a $50 freeze fee. We are happy to offer a 1-time complimentary freeze per package for medical reasons.
PREGNANT CLIENT POLICY
If you are pregnant and a current student, please provide a doctor's note permitting you to take strengthening and stretching classes. If you are pregnant and have NEVER taken a Bar Method class, you are not permitted to take class.
ATTIRE
Exercise pants to the knee or below, tops that cover the midriff, and socks that cover the entire foot are required.
LATE ARRIVAL POLICY
First-time students should arrive 10 minutes early. First-time students may not enter a class after it has started. Returning students may enter up to 10 minutes after class has started.
DRINKS
Only water in clear bottles is permitted in the exercise studios. Please do not bring colored liquids or bottles into the studios.
CELL PHONES
Cell phones are not permitted in the exercise studios. You may ask the front desk staff to keep your phone for you during class if you are expecting an important phone call. Otherwise, please store it in the locker room.
GUM
Chewing gum is not permitted in the exercise studios.
CHILDCARE
No childcare is provided. However, teens 15 and older may attend class after a parent or guardian has signed a waiver.
